Cricket Wales announce changes to structure of regional cricket

After an extensive period of consultation, discussion and collaboration with all existing regional organisations across Wales, Cricket Wales are pleased to announce changes to the structure of provision of regional cricket within the national pathway to ensure that the future direction of junior representative cricket is an exciting one.

The below document has been produced this document to facilitate the understanding of the new regional cricket structure that will commence from January 2021, to come into effect for the 2021/22 season. There are a number of virtual information evenings that are available to sign up to on Page 3.

It is worth noting that the structure and subsequent programme was originally scheduled for a November 2020 start date. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there are various aspects of the programme that will sadly not be able to evolve to their fullest extent until the October/November of 2021 and the summer of 2022.
